Obama Planning a Concert for Stevie Wonder?

Published by wv918 at 9:19 am under Music Edit This

MSN Music News is reporting that President Obama is planning a concert for Stevie Wonder. The event is scheduled for Feb 25 and to be shown the next day on PBS. He’s also suppose to present Wonder with the Library of Congress award.

Don’t get me wrong I’m all for honoring Stevie Wonder and I love most of his music but I don’t think now is the time to be giving him a concert. The President is in office not even a month and this is one of the top things on his calender.

If you was really serious about saving tax payers money how about cutting out frivolous concerts for people who helped your campaign. I know the cost is probably a grain of sand compared to the mess our economy is in but you should start by cutting the small items trust me they will eventually add up.

People will probably see this post and think he’s just another Obama hater looking to stir hate up but no that’s not it. I’m just a person who notices small things that other people may not see.
