Chris Brown needs your vote in The Kid’s Choice Awards
Did you know that Chris Brown still wants your vote in the Kids Choice Awards coming up March 28 on Nickelodeon. Hes nominated in two categories Favorite Male Singer and Favorite song for Kiss, Kiss
Last Thursday, the very same day he appeared in court to answer the charges of beating Rihanna he made a post on his Myspace blog urging everyone to vote for him. The sad thing is all the comments on the post but one said they would give him their support.
I doubt he was the one even made the blog post, it may have been some automated thing set to post at a certain time but its still in bad taste. I also don’t understand Nickelodeon and their position on the whole thing. They’re saying he’s on the ballot and let the kids decide.
Some of the votes may have even been cast before the beating but one would think he doesn’t have a chance of winning. But then again you never know how a young kid will look at the situation, they may just put the beating out of their minds entirely and just focus on the fact that they like him.
In a odd kind of way I would actually like to see him win just to see if he has the nerve to show his face on stage. I can just hear the announcer now, “Chris regrettably can’t be with us tonight,he is at P-Diddy’s mansion putting finishing touches on his new album.”
I think the whole thing is sad. He’s been trashed so much, but that was not without fault. For both of them, it’s just really unfortunate that this happen, and it really didn’t have to.
