Who goes home tonight on American Idol?
I think its going to be really hard to predict who will be going home tonight on the American Idol results show. There were several great performances last night and a few god ones but there was also a few duds.
Those who are obviously staying are Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey, Allison Iraheta and Matt Giraud. All four of them did great last night and I don’t think they are in any trouble of going home.
The judges liked Anoop Desai’s rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors” but I wasn’t crazy about it. I know they say your suppose to make the song your own but its like I didn’t even recognize it at all.
Poor Scott MacIntyre, he don’t know whether sit or stand. Paula Abdul is telling him to get away from the piano and Simon Cowell is telling him to stay with what hes comfortable. Last night he just looked way to awkward standing in the middle of the stage singing Survivor’s “The Search is Over”. All of the judges hated it and I think he is in big trouble tonight.
Kris Allen fell back to earth last night after heavy praise from the judges the past weeks. He tried to do “All She Wants To Do Is Dance” by Don Henley and completely butchered it. You couldn’t even tell what song it was. I suppose you can say he made it his own but what was it.
I knew Lil Rounds was in trouble when I saw her strutting out on stage imitating Tina Turner. I said to myself Simon is going get her on that and sure enough he said something. He said it was a bad imitation of Tina Turner and he feels like they have lost the Lil Rounds that they loved earlier in the season. Still yet though I don’t believe she is in trouble tonight.
I think this may be the night for Scott MacIntyre to go home and if not him my back up guess will be Anoop Desai.
