Is America ready for a gay American Idol?

Published by wv918 at 10:13 am under Music, Television Edit This

Well now we are down to 7 American Idol hopefuls for tonight’s show. This week movie director Quentin Tarantino will be the mentor for the 7 remaining American Idol hopefuls. The theme for tonight’s show will be Idols at the Movies, that covers a wide range of songs so it will be very interesting to see what the contestants choose.

I think the one on the hot seat tonight will be Anoop Desai, if he can’t come up with a strong performance he will be the next one going home in my opinion.

I think we all know who the front runner is now, and yes I am referring to Adam Lambert. Week after week he has been the strongest performer. Even though I hate that he butchered Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire I have loved all his other performances.

I’m sure everyone has seen the photos by now of Adam Lambert kissing several different guys, they are all over the internet. One thing I am curious about, is the American public ready for a gay American Idol?

I’m not saying Adam’s gay but there is proof to lead one to believe that he is. But do you think the American public will buy his Cd’s if in fact he is gay, would it matter to them. I don’t think it matters at all. Gay, straight or bi-sexual the guy can sing and that’s all that matters.
