So I was just reading this morning that American Idol has chosen Ellen DeGeneres as the judge to replace Paula Abdul who recently quit. She wont start judging until the live shows in February according to the story so she wont be on set for any of the auditions that they travel to across the country.

I’ll think she will be a great judge cause she is just like your average viewer except that shes famous. She doesn’t have a musical background which if you ask me doesn’t do the other judges any good except maybe Simon. All you hear from Randy Jackson is “you was a lil pitchy dawg” and “it was just ok but I wasn’t feeling it”. Then you have Kara DioGuardi and her usual response for the Idol contestant that she “doesn’t know who the contestant is” and they need to “find out who they are”.

Ellen is just like a regular viewer and she loves music as a fan and knows what she likes and I for one am looking forward to seeing what she has to say.

Farrah Fawcett has passed away at the age of 62 after her long battle with cancer. She died this morning with her family at her bedside. She was best remembered for her role as Jill Munroe in the 70’s hit show Charlie’s Angel’s. She was previously married to Lee Majors and had a relationship with Ryan O’Neal since the mid 1980’s. Did anyone catch the new show on ABC titled The Superstars last night? In it they put 8 celebrities with 8 sports stars and put them in teams of two. Then they compete against one another in various sports events. Each episode the 2 losing teams have to compete in a obstacle course with the loser going home.

 Well last night supermodel Joanna Krupa and Terrell Owens were teamed up but unfortunately for them they had to do the obstacle course and lost so had to leave the show. It was so funny Terrell Owens was having a terrible time with it and Joanna Krupa was on the side calling him all sorts of names. It was funny to see after Terrell Owens has spent his 13 year career fighting with his quarterback’s from various teams. Owens was just standing there and letting Joanna Krupa go off on him and didnt say a word. Here is some of the choice things she was telling him.

“I’ll be a prima donna like you been”

“So cocky? For what? You got in the NFL?”

“Un f****** believable.”

“I don’t want a teammate like that. Calls himself an athlete. What does he get a million dollars for?”

“No T.O., Not ‘Let’s go.’ You’re the one that f***** up. We could have won. So shut up!”

Ed McMahon age 86 has died after battling numerous health problems in the past few years. He was said to be battling bone cancer at the time of his death and also took a fall in 2007 that resulted in a broken neck that continued to give him problems.

I am sure everyone knows about the martial troubles that Jon and Kate Gosselin have been having lately. Jon and Kate and their 8 children are the subjects of a TLC show titled Jon and Kate Plus 8. The show has just started its fifth season on the air and it is drawing more media attention than  it ever did in its previous four seasons.

In the past few months Jon Gosselin has been caught out at night clubs and has been reportedly been having an affair with 23 year old school teacher Deanna Hummel. Do you think all this dirt on Jon Gosselin is new, like it is the first time it is happening? I don’t think it is.

 I think with the whole Octo Mom mess with her and all those kids she had, the media started looking more closely at other situations similar to Octo Moms and started noticing the Gosselins more closely. Like I said I’m sure Jon Gosselin was running around chasing skirts long before the paparazzi caught him, he just never had so many cameras following him to catch him before now.
